Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards. Sale, promotional, and Build-A-Box purchases remain subject to the return eligibility and refund rules described in this policy.

Build-A-Box Returns & Exchanges

Build-A-Box purchases receive special bundle pricing. We want you to love what you chose, so you do not have to return your entire box simply because you would like to return or exchange one eligible item.

Individual Build-A-Box Returns

Individual items from a Build-A-Box may be returned within our 30-day return period, provided they meet the eligibility requirements of this policy. Any refund will be based on the amount actually paid or allocated to that item as part of the bundle—not the item's regular individual retail value.

For example, if an item normally sells for $29.99 but was purchased as part of a specially priced Build-A-Box, the refund will be based on its allocated bundle purchase value, not $29.99.

Complete Build-A-Box Returns

If you prefer to return your entire Build-A-Box, you may return all items from that box. Once the return is received, inspected, and approved, we will refund the eligible amount paid for the bundle to your original payment method.

You are welcome to build and purchase a new box at any time. You are not required to purchase a replacement box while waiting for your original return to be processed.

Build-A-Box Exchanges

If you would like a different item instead of returning your entire box, please contact us. When available, we can arrange an exchange for another eligible product from the same Build-A-Box tier. Exchanges are subject to product availability and the return-condition requirements of this policy.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Build-A-Box Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible. We'll make it right. If a return is required because of our error or an eligible damaged, defective, or incorrect item, Dawterson will cover the required return shipping.

Change-of-Mind Returns

For approved preference or change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping. Original outbound shipping charges, if any, are not refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Personal-Care & Hygiene Products

For health and hygiene reasons, opened or used personal-care, grooming, beauty, or hygiene products cannot be returned or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons. If an eligible product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us so we can make it right.

Bundle Pricing & Refunds

Regular-value or comparison prices displayed while building a box represent the normal retail value of the products and are not necessarily the amount paid. Refunds are calculated from the actual Build-A-Box purchase price and applicable allocation or discount recorded on the order.

Returning an individual item does not entitle the customer to a refund of that item's higher regular retail price when the item was purchased at a lower effective Build-A-Box price.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
